Zinfandel 2014 CSFA Benefit Wine
This is the third Zinfandel we have bottled, labeled and sold to raise funds for Fire Fighting organizations. The first was the Centennial bottling of Zinfandel two years ago to recognize the 100 year anniversary of the Geyserville Fire Department and raise money for the Geyserville Volunteer Firefighters Association.
Last year, following the devastating fires in the summer of 2015 to our neighbors in Lake County, we bottled a Zinfandel labeled “Fire Storm Red” to raise money for the Cal Fire families in Lake County who lost their homes or suffered injuries from the fire.
This 2014 Zinfandel “Dry Creek Valley” was bottled to recognize the California State Firefighters’ Association and to raise money for the CSFA Historical Society and the good work it performs in fire prevention education, preserving the history of the organization and promoting goodwill for the entire fire service. This years CSFA annual meeting is being held in Healdsburg, the heart of Northern Sonoma County wine country and is co-hosted by Healdsburg and Geyserville Fire Departments.
