Zinyard

Bernier Zinyard Zinfandel

Why call it a Zinyard? Originally Paul and Yael Bernier planted only Zinfandel on the hillside behind their house off of Canyon Road in northern Dry Creek Valley, thus making it their very own "Zinyard." Spicy cherry and ripe mixed berry aromas meld with earth tones and a touch of baking spices. With lower than normal for alcohol (for Zinfandel), this bottling is sometimes referred to as having Zinfandel fruit with Pinot Noir subtlety.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Bradford Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
The Bradford Mountain vineyards produce wine grapes with a unique and very recognizable minerality, and that expression of place reaches its apex in the Bradford Mountain Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Luscious blackberry and currant flavors layer over spicy cedar and a gentle core of minerality. Though big and bold, this is still a wine with balance and finesse, not an over-oaked and over-extracted monster, and will continue to develop for many years.

Bradford Mountain Syrah, Gravity Flow Block

The "Gravity Flow Block" is a small planting carved out of a rocky knoll on top of Bradford Mountain, with about 8% of the vineyard planted to Viognier. . By co-fermenting the Syrah and Viogner in the Cote Rotie tradition, we have created a seductive yet powerful wine. The smooth, lush mouthfeel is filled with classic Syrah flavors—smoky dark-skinned fruit with a tar and tobacco essence, along with spicy pepper, rich dark chocolate and an intriguing mineral edge. The Viogner contributes subtle floral and fruit aromatics and flavors, further enhancing the wine’s richness and complexity.
